Don’t get me wrong. I adore my mother and believe all mothers should be celebrated. But good lord, I wish there was some way of doing it that doesn’t leave a whole sub-class of women feeling absolutely and completely useless and unacknowledged. Shit. Hoping it’s the last one.

I know so many people still in the trenches. Deserving and beautiful women still waiting so this Mother’s Day rather than have brunch and celebrate me I am going to spend the day thinking wishing and pleading that all the women who want to be called Mom get that wish before another Mother’s Day passes. Oh and blast this sentiment on social media so other’s have to think about it. Xo
